Chapter President, Wally Saeger, presents Dr. Nolan with an AFA Challenge Coin following his excellent presentation.
Dr. Michael Nolan, of the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory gave an excellent presentation on the OSIRIS-REX and OSIRIS-APEX programs where he is the Deputy Principal Investigator. His presentation covered the mission to retrieve and return a sample of the asteroid Bennu, and the current mission to get close aboard asteroid Apophis. Truly Rocket Science!
